The Firm was founded by John Kellard in 1984 and was originally located at 359 Main Street and later moved to 90 South Bedford Road, both located in Mount Kisco, New York; the office later relocated to 200 Business Park Drive in Armonk. In the late 90s, the office moved to its present location at 500 Main Street in Armonk, following a complete renovation of what is now our beautiful office space. David Sessions, a long-standing employee at the time, became a Partner of the Firm in 2003 and, most recently, in 2017, Joseph Cermele and Jan Johannessen joined John and David as Principals of the Firm. While the majority of our work is performed in our backyard of Westchester County, we provide services throughout the region including Dutchess, Putnam, Rockland, Nassau and Suffolk Counties as well as in Connecticut.
The Company’s diverse client base includes numerous municipalities throughout Westchester County, private homeowners and landowners, developers, not-for-profits, institutions, governmental and quasi-governmental entities, and investors. Our projects run the gamut from single-family residential individual lot development or redevelopment, to subdivisions, multifamily development, transit-oriented development, commercial development, equestrian facilities, institutional uses, firehouses, schools, warehouses, capital improvements, recreational sports fields and golf courses, and everything in between.
